Robotics is a branch of engineering that combines mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, manufacturing engineering, computer science and other fields of engineering at different degrees. A minor degree in Robotics equips students with skills required for designing and construction of robot mechanisms; designing and development of electronic control systems using sensory feedback and information processing  to generate robotic motions by various actuators; and  programming and application of robots for carrying out tasks that would be regarded as dirty, dull and dangerous (DDD) to a human being.
