EDUC 461. Introduction to Special Education. 3 Credits.

Develops skills and knowledge for recognizing and effectively teaching students with various disabilities in the K-12 setting. Examines relevant laws, educational service delivery models, curricular planning approaches, and instructional adaptations. Ten hours of field experience is required.
