- The teaching practicum requires a minimum of 15 teaching hours, with the remaining credit hours to be dedicated to preparing lesson plans, evaluating student data, and developing assessments. The practicum will be designed in consultation with their department and a faculty teaching mentor.
- Prior to the start of the semester in which they plan to complete their teaching practicum, students must complete a practicum proposal form. In order to complete the Practicum Proposal Form, students need to have a conversation with their field experience supervisor about the practicum, including what class(es) they will teach and when they will be observed.
