It emphasizes structure, electronic and magnetic properties, bonding, and symmetry of inorganic compounds, including organometallic and coordination complexes, and their reactivities. Topics also include main-group chemistry, solid-state materials, Lewis acid-base chemistry, oxidation-reduction reactions, and an introduction to physical methods used to probe the properties and track reactions of inorganic compounds.
