CNED 406. Psychopathology in the Health Professions. 3 Credits.
This course explores the history, causes, and common symptoms of mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment approaches. While some diagnostic frameworks may be discussed, the focus is on understanding psychological disorders from multiple perspectives rather than preparing students for diagnosis. Open to both students seeking a deeper understanding of abnormal behavior and mental health in the health professions. Meets criteria for the Foundations in Clinical Mental Health Certificate.
