Introduction to privacy and data security in artificial intelligence applications. The course covers privacy violations and various formal definitions proposed to guard against related attacks. In the second half of the course, students will get hands-on experience exploring attacks against neural systems as well as understanding practices for protecting against such attacks. Prereq: STAT 367 and CSCI 425.
