ID 362. Codes for Interiors. 2 Credits.

Health and safety are foundational to professional interior design, aimed at protecting the public's "Health, Safety, and Welfare" (HSW) within the built environment. Students will develop knowledge of the origins and intent of laws, codes, and standards impacting interior design applications to ensure spaces are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, accessible, and secure. Prereq: ID 253, ID 360, ID 363, and ID 368. Prereq or Coreq: Interior Design major with a minimum of 3.00 cumulative GPA.
