MUSC 636. Topics in Music History. 3 Credits.
An in-depth study of one of the major historical periods or genres to be chosen by the instructor and based on the needs of the students. Possible topics could include, but are not limited to, Medieval/Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic or Contemporary musical periods. Genres will include vocal, choral and instrumental works that are considered to be representative of major composers and styles of each period.
May be repeated for credit.
