NURS 313. Accelerated Phamacology & Pathophysiology I. 2 Credits.
This course introduces the foundational principles of pharmacology and pathophysiology as they relate to major drug classifications. Students explore prototype medications, mechanisms of action, therapeutic uses, and essential safety considerations. Emphasis is given to the nursing role in developing a comprehensive approach to the clinical application of drug therapy through the use of the nursing process.
