This course is designed for students in the College of Health and Human Sciences who want to learn basic Spanish as related to their fields of study and daily activities. Beginner Spanish for Healthcare is an introductory course in Spanish for those students who have no background in the study of Spanish. The course is designed to give the student a basic knowledge of the Spanish language in the medical field. Overall, the course will focus on medical vocabulary, grammar structures and Hispanic cultures. Students will review grammatical structures needed to interact with patients such as asking questions and giving commands.
